Brad Irving D.o.

A native of the Grand Rapids area, Dr. Irving received his undergraduate degree from Hope College in Holland, MI then completed medical school in Phoenix, AZ in 2004. He and his wife moved back to west Michigan to complete his residency at Metro Health Hospital. Dr. Irving is the youngest son of Dr. W. Lee Irving, a respected OB/GYN who has practiced in Grand Rapids for most of the past 30 years.

Dr. Irving's primary purpose at GRWH is to extend the practice's delivery and surgical services to Metro Health . Dr. Irving is known for his kind and thorough care. He specializes in obstetrics and gynecology with special interests in minimally invasive surgery, pelvic floor dysfunction and prenatal care. As the first osteopathic physician to join the practice, Dr. Irving  brings a philosophy of care that incorporates the whole person: mind, body and spirit. This includes special training in osteopathic manipulation, a gentle form of manipulation that helps to resore the body's natural balance, enhancing its natural healing mechanisms, and relieving pain in a noninvasive way.

Dr. Irving and his wife have two daughters. When not working, he enjoys being a husband and father, hockey, golf, flyfishing and is active in his church.
