Physician Assistants (PAs) and Nurse Practitioners (NPs) are licensed health care professionals who practice as part your healthcare team. These practitioners are able to provide comprehensive health care in a variety of settings including women's health, primary care, and gynecologic/urogynecologic related services.

PA's and NP's have had extensive education and training that includes both academic and clinical studies. These practitioners are able to conduct physical exams, diagnose illness, order and interpret x-rays and laboratory studies, write presriptions and assist in surgery.

The relationship between physicians and NP's/PA's is that of mutual respect and trust. They work in collaboration with the physicians to provide you the best care possible.
